Does erasing free space on a drive screw with Chimera? I ran it on my main drive, and it looks like it deleted Chimera... I had to reinstall it. Sorry if this has been overly discussed priorly... just noticed it tonight...

I agree... that's why I have to 2 drives... one to use as my main drive and another to tweak. I might play around with the test one to see what happens, but for now, I'm just glad the thing works... and I'm good with that!

I have a LiteON Blu Ray drive in my Hack build. Lion was able to read and see BDs just fine... but now with ML, it doesn't come up at all... Mac Blu Ray Player, Pavtube BD Ripper and even Finder acts like there's no disc in the drive when I put a BD in. I have the issue of my drives showing...

I'm using as ASRock H55M-LE board... I had to go into the BIOS and enable most of the disabled features under the CPU configuration screen as well as the others under the chipset config... once I did all that, I was able to boot into XMove, get Mountain Lion installed, and then reboot into...

I've got the same board and was having the same issues... In your BIOS, check the CPU settings. I had to enable most of the disabled features... once i did that, the system booted into Mountain Lion without any problems!

Anyone else experienced this? When I boot into Mountain Lion, I have to repair my keyboard and enter a pairing verification code. With 10.7.4 - both trackpad and keyboard worked as soon as Lion booted... Here's a screencap from my System Profiler with my Bluetooth info...

@Splat - I don't know if one's better than the other... I tried the UniBeast method, but I had a helluva time getting anwhere with that. I had a spare HD in my Hack build, so I used the XMove method since I was more familiar with that... XMove is what I used to go from Snow Leopard to Mountain...

Could someone please post or share the kext from 10.7.4? I was so happy that Mountain Lion worked that I immediately made a back-up of it over my old Lion installation...

Ok, so I got the FaceTime part to work, but Dictation still isn't... the little SIRI icon comes up and listens to me, and then it goes to the ellipses icon and then nothing happens... any thoughts? How sensitive is Dictation to background noises?

I went the upgrade route... 1) Clone Lion disk 2) Download & Run ML Installer from App Store 3) Reboot 4) Run XMove on a separate hard drive 5) Boot into XMove 6) Install ML 7) Reboot into ML 8) ??? 9) PROFIT!!!
