Hi All
Just Bought a G5 Case last week from eBay for what I feel to be a great price of £30 considering there were only "Blemishes" but they came off with nail varnish remover
I plan to put my current Hackintosh into the case after a bit of modding, which I will keep the progress of on here.
The specs of my System are as follows:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L
CPU: Intel Q6600 Quad 2.6GHz
RAM: 4GB OCZ Gold Edition
HDD: -250GB Windows
-Fusion Drive (120GB SSD + 1Tb HDD) from App store using Uni Beast
Graphics: NVidia 8600GT
Wi-Fi: PCI-mini to PCI-E apple airport mod
and some other stuff like USB Bluetooth and that kind of jazz
I plan to try keep this mod as vanilla looking as possible but change out the back so I have a standard ATX fitting back, so I don’t have to worry about wiring up the ports.
Considering my inexperience with metal work I will just have to see how that goes as for front IO I've ordered a cable from BlackCH on Insanely mac so should have no problem with that, Anyways stay tuned folks for updates.
p.s just thought you would like a "before" picture of my hack before I get on with the modding (Warning its rather messy)
