Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

@Ponkass
Give it a try adding amfi=0x80 in boot args.

@cabuffalo
Updated to 14.4.1, wifi and BT are working fine with OCLP 1.4.2 root patch.
Requisites:
  • config.plist set
  • AMFIPass-kext 1.4.1 / IOSkywalkFamily.kext 1.1.0 / IO80211FamilyLegacy.kext 1.0.0
  • OCLP root patch.
Let me see your config.plist.
Here it is, @miliuco Thank you for your time.

@cabuffalo

SecureBootModel must be Disabled for OCLP.
csr-active-config must be 03080000 for OCLP.
Does OCLP allow to apply root patch with these settings?

IOSkywalkFamily.kext has V1.0 in Comment, are you sure that you got 1.1.0 as per instructions?

Yes, The root patch was appied.
I'll check the other two settings. Will feedback here. Thanks.

@miliuco I changed those settings. Reset NVRAM and did patch again. Still no luck. BT works but not WIFI.

Any other tips? Thanks.

Hello, I have successfully enabled both WiFi and Bluetooth in Sonoma 14.2.1. This thread was very helpful as was this GitHub link for clarifying the config.plist: https://github.com/billabongbruno/macOS-Sonoma-Broadcom-Wifi?tab=readme-ov-file were very helpful. What stumped me was a mismatch of the versions of Kexts.

Enabling Bluetooth was not as difficult. As this is via a USB header, and I did map the USB port as internal previously. I do not believe any other Kexts required. Airdrop is an important feature to my workflow, and I have tested it with my iPad Pro. I have yet to test Continuity or other features.

My current system specs are:

MSI B550 Tomahawk Max Wifi Mobo
AMD 5900X 12 Core CPU
XFX AMD 6800 GPU
Broadcom BCM94360CS2 Wifi/BT

EDIT: Upon further research, the "Wireless_Device" is not my BT card as I originally thought. It is my MediaTek motherboard WiFi card.
