Making an AMD RX580 2048SP Graphics Card Work on Hackintosh

Hello @yyymmm greetings from Brazil! I'm trying to modify my Mingzhou RX580 2048sp VBIOS but no sucess, I never touched an hex before in my life, chances are that i'm making some mistake in process, you can modify it for me?


This URL is my upload of my original vbios in Techpowerup, there you can find more information about my GPU
I opend my GPU few hours ago and found that chip inside is 215-0876406 maybe it help in process.

Before trying to modify it I flashed 50 different RX570 and RX470 bios, no one of them worked.

It worked perfectly, you don't know how grateful I am. I will compare your bios with mine to find out where I was wrong. Thank you very much.

@folkevil: In general, it is not a good idea to use another video card's rom file unless your video card is identical to the other video card. Flashing your video card's rom with a wrong rom file could render your video card useless (brick it).

Yes, did it this weekend :( Just for fun (?), tried to flash a newer BIOS for my Sapphire Pulse RX 580 and ended with a really garbled screen but I was able to almost blindly reflash the stock BIOS. Lesson: if ain’t broken, don’t fix it!

@yyymmm , you started a VBIOS flashing service? :) Seriously, kudos for helping other users!

@brousseau6933 Glad that you restored your card with the original rom. And thank you for your kind words. I just want to help those folks who innocently bought an RX580 2080SP card without knowing that the card wouldn't work on macOS without modifying the original rom. If they can use the instruction I posted to get their video cards work with macOS, great. If they have difficulty modifying their card's rom on their own, I'd be happy to lend a hand if and when I can.
 
Hi @yyymmm . First of all, thank you very much for your efforts. I also have a Mllse brand RX 580 chinese gpu. I am sending the original BIOS as attachment. Thanks again.
