I want to update from 10.10.5 to 10.11.6

Depends on BIOS. Check your BIOS options. If there are no options to choose UEFI vs. legacy, your BIOS is legacy.



What? The config.plist files in the guide already include a patch for Local APIC panic.

Kexts can be installed with 'sudo cp -R KextToInstall.kext /System/Library/Extensions'.
All the plists linked by the guide have SIP disabled.

The latest clover is linked from the guide (on sourceforge).
