In my EZ 8000 guide the suggestion is to completely disable sleep as wake from sleep doesn't work. Once you've got an SSD it will boot up so fast you won't need to sleep it anyway. AFA iMessage I never attempted that as I didn't own this PC-Mac long enough to try out things like that. Interesting to hear that your Pentium CPU worked. Getting PM working would be a real challenge as Apple doesn't put Pentium CPUs in any Mac.

Is that why no combination of SmUUID, MLB, ROM, and Serial Number doesn't seem to work? And I also called Apple like 3 times... seems its not an issue on their end. So would it be easier to get iMessage and FaceTime working if I were to upgrade to an i5 2500S or i5 2500K?

Do a site search for how to use a fake CPU ID via Clover Configurator and use an SMBIOS that matches the Sandy Bridge CPU that you are faking. Something like an iMac 12,1 and use an I5-2500S Fake CPU ID. Let us know if it works out.

Do I need a Fake CPU ID? My System Info says 2.89 GHZ i5 CPU.

Well I have elite 8000 with core2 duo e8400 and I have a Radeon 5450 and sleep works for me and wake also iMessage and FaceTime work for me also I once hackintoshed a old Pentium laptop( even though it had no gpu acceleration) it still installed and iMessage was able to work all I do is in your case Mac Pro 3,1 it has 11 digits in the serial number also make sure you randomly click on the shake buttons then I copy that into boardserialnumber and add 2 random digits to it then go into terminal and type uuidgen about 5 times and copy the last one to smuuid section and then I save that reboot and my iMessage works

Will Try. Also I did a site wide search and a google search. It gives me codes to fake sandy bridge but not for specific sandy bridge CPUs. Also my Pentium is Sandy Bridge.

Also jacopers how did you enable sleep and wake?

Hello I have an HP Elite 8200 SFF hackintosh. It is very similar to the Elite 8000.
These are my specs:

Intel Pentium G850
8GB of Patriot 1333Mhz DDR3
EVGA Geforce 210 1GB DDR3
80GB HDD (will replace with an SSD)
OS X El Capitan: 10.11.5

Everything works fine besides Sleep and Wake and FaceTime and iMessage. How do you possibly get sleep and wake to work? Sleep works for only 2 seconds before turning back on. Also how did you get iMessage working? I tried all the guides including the Idiot's one. It still doesn't seem to work. I am using Mac Pro 3,1 system definition btw.

You will be better off with a i3, i5 or a i7 CPU if you're planning on inplementing native CPU Powermanagement.

Sleep will only work with a patched DSDT which has HPET, LPC, USB fixes. NullCPUPowermanagement breaks sleep hence why it's used for disabling Native CPUPowermanagement.

I've never patched a DSDT before. Could you help me?

Tbh I really don't know I have nullcpupowermanagement if I didn't I KP so sleep and wake still work which confuses be but it works
