Hey, I'm having trouble with my install. I'm trying to install on my new XPS 13 9350. I can boot to the OS X Installer through Clover just fine and Clover will list all my disks, but Disk Utility doesn't list my internal M.2 PCIe SSD. Neither does System Profiler. I tried your kext, Rehabman, and it does nothing different. It doesn't matter if I set AHCI mode or the default "RAID-on" mode either. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Not a desktop. Moved to laptop support.

Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (omit 'themes' folder).

Post output of 'lspci -nn' in Linux Terminal.

Thanks for picking up the case! I've attached my Clover folder below.

Because Ubuntu can only see my SSD in AHCI mode, here's the output of that command in this mode:

By the way, I managed to install OS X on a 32GB usb drive just to get somewhere and get my devices working. So far it works pretty well, but it still can't see my SSD. From Ubuntu I cloned the flash drive with dd to the SSD but when I boot it gives me a "Still waiting for root device" error, which I'm guessing is because of a lack of NVMe support.

The md5 sum for your HackrNVMeFamily_10_11_6 is not correct.

Should be: 040b01cd4bfb18b8df793b96998810b7

You must have patched it incorrectly.

That seems to have been the problem. I patched it on the XPS with the version I had installed on the 32GB USB, and now it works just fine! I can even boot off of it! Thank you so much man, I wish I had your skills LOL

Yo dude!

I'm having the EXACT same problem! When on the Disk Utility Screen on the Apple Installer, I can't find my allocated exFAT space--that I've allocated for OS X--to install OS X onto. Not sure if that was as bit too technical or not, but I basically can't see my SSD when I'm on the Disk Utility Screen. I only see my USB Stick that I'm using to install OS X.

The only difference between what I did, was that I did not reformat my entire NVMe M.2. SSD; I actually want to keep the Windows 10 that came with the laptop (I modified it quite extensively and don't really want to redo everything). Instead, I deleted all of the Windows MBRs (I read on one of the threads that OS X doesn't like MBR partitions or something, so I just deleted them just as a cautionary task) that were on the SSD and "partitioned" the SSD into two separate partitions, one for Windows and one for OS X.

I have a strong strong strong feeling that I patched my HackrNVMeFamily_10_11_6 folder incorrectly. Is there any chance that you can upload your HackrNVMeFamily_10_11_6.kext folder?

THANKS THANKS THANKS!

Here's my kext, not sure if it's alright to upload it directly but I hope Rehabman can let me know *wink wink*

Another issue I discovered is that when trying to install on a drive that has Windows, the EFI partition is too small (has to be 200mb for OS X but is ~90mb when Windows created it). I tried to move it to another part of the drive (because it was squished between two partitions) and then Windows wouldn't boot. That said, here's a guide I was loosely following to fix this issue: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/g...-device-for-requested-operation-error.168286/
