Ok, so i posted this in general questions but thing its in the wrong spot, so i am listing it here too.
System I7-4770s gigabyte ga-z87x-oc 24gb patriot ram 240GB Sandisk SSD Gigabyte GTX 650ti
At this point this is all that is connected.
So the system has been up and running Very Good for about a month, any ways a few days ago the Bluetooth dongle stopped working (mouse and keyboard would not connect at all) So started using usb keyboard and mouse. Anyways i wanted to get the bluetooth working again and tried number of things, and nothing worked so i decided to do a time machine restore, it went fine, no issues and bluetooth started working again, but as soon as it booted for the first time the wired memory went to 23.5 GB. Yes GB. I then tried memory clean, and many other programs as well and nothing worked. so i did another time machine, actually 3 different ones, and none work, they all booted up and 23.5 wired memory again. I then did a Format of the SSD and did fresh install of OS and again same thing. When you open activity manager nothing is using the resources, it only adds up to about 3GB used if you add them all up. I tried clearing cmos and nothing, tried without video card and use on board card and same issue. I really need help. thanks

Anyone any help please!!!

has no one had this issue?

has no one had this issue?

my system
mobo: gigabyte z170n wifi mini itx
cpu: i7 6700k
memory: 16gb vengeance 3000hz
gpu: gtx 970 4gb

Hey man, I am having a similar issue right now. I followed this guide for instillation. My system seems to be functioning perfectly except for the ram usage. I have not experienced any noticeable performance issues regarding the ram however, my activity monitor shows the wired memory usage at over 9gb with a 16gb base. This seems unusually high. I own a 15inch MB pro with 16gb of base ram and my wired memory rarely exceeds 300mb. Thats what makes me think there is a pretty large issue.

Have you had any luck finding a solution to your issue?
