Wondering if someone will give me their opinion on my geekbench score 32bit mode. My Hackintosh is not overclocked. Should this result be higher given that it is not overclocked or does it seem reasonable. Thank you.

I currently do not have any issues with it, I just updated to 10.9.4 and had to tweak the BIOS for my memory card reader that was causing KP issues. It is up and running since this morning. Thanks guys.

That seems reasonable. I get about the same in my Z77/3770K IB rig that is overclocked to 4.2Ghz.

My 12 core (Dual Westmere-EP x5765) rigs gets 21000 in OS X and 24000 in Windows. I don't understand why there's such a difference and why I'm not getting scores similar to what a real Mac Pro with those processors gets, around 28000.

You'd have to look at your BIOS setup to see what's enabled, what frequencies/multis are set.

My low-power L5639 (hexa core) scores higher in multi-threaded tests in Geekbench in OS X than Windows 7 64-bit. But is slower in single-thread performance in OS X than Windows. I get 17,100 in GB 64 Bit, and slightly less in 32 Bit. That's overclocked to 18x multi @ 3.78 Ghz across all cores. The difference is that in Windows, but not OS X, single thread (actually up to 2 threads/cores) tasks will use a 20X multi, giving me 4.2 Ghz.

Hello, down my point of view, I believe that this so low punctuation is due to the memoria ram. I have a punctuation near to the 18.000 and comparing it with yours, the this difference in the punctuation of the ram. A greeting from Spain. I sit it for the bad translation.

Just dropped in an X5650 hexa-core @ 4.18 Ghz (22 x 190) = 18,467.

Will probably try to get this to the 4.4 to 4.6 Ghz range (22 x 200-210), but haven't had time to actually try to overclock properly. This CPU is killer... it's from 2010!
