Hi all :)


I'm did a multiboot: Ubuntu - Windows 8.1 - Mavericks
Everything is functional except my wifi which is not detected.


I searched a lot and found nothing for Mavericks ...
This is a: TP-Link TL-WN951N


Can you help me ?


My configuration:



AsRock Z77 Extreme 4SAPPHIRE HD7970 3Go
INTEL Core i5-3570K
TL-WN951N
Gskill Ares DDR3 PC3-12800 - 2 x 4 Go (8Go)
Barracuda 7200.14 - 1 To (Ubuntu installation + Data)
OCZ 120Go SSD (Mavericks & Windows installation)

[SOLVED] TP-Link TL-WN951N - Mavericks

Hi !! :)

After days of search i managed to get my wifi card working !!!
I modified last WiFi kext for Atheros by adding or Device ID.

Just download this zip file: Link

Unzip it, and install the 3 kexts with Kext utility.
Delete all you wifi connection in Network Preferences...
Disable WiFi
Reboot your Hackintosh
Create new Wifi connexion by click on "+" Network Preferences
Enable WiFi
Enjoy !!!!

Hi . I installed your 3 three kexts, but it's freeze after connect wifi . And i also can not edit AtherosFix.ket . Can you guide me how to manage it working ? sorry for bad english . thanks
 
I too am trying to edit the Info.plist files to add my device ID. I have managed to find one located in IO80211Family.kext/Contents/Plugins/AirPortAtheros40.kext/Contents that lists device ID but that is the only file I have modified. I have not managed to get wifi working with modifying this file. If you find any other files that list device ID please post!
 
I can confirm that adding the device id as Galaxyuser did will get this card working for 10.9.4 I7 Haswell using CLOVER boot loader.

TP-Link TL-WN951N - Mavericks 10.9.4

Dude click the "download link" go to file and select download, once you've downloaded the kexts use a kextutility to install the kexts.

If you have a TL-WN951N it should be working in 10.9.4..

Well I am having trouble with my TP-LINK WN951N also.

I have downloaded and installed the kexts for the wireless card and it works and all.
The issue I am having is
I can't turn on wifi without freezing my computer and having to restart.

Any help would be appreciated.
