Hello all. i have built my hackintosh and it is able to boot on its own without an issue. The moment I connect my 1 TB storage drive, I am no longer able to boot. It looks as though Chimera is searching all bootable options and views this secondary drive as a viable option. The loader stops prior to loading the option to boot from Yosemite. It shows a dash line spinning then stopping. The dash line stops at the '\' position consistently and the underline still blinks which tells me that there is nothing wrong with this on its own. My question is whether or not I need to reformat this 1 TB as I would much rather not. Any and all answers are greatly appreciated.

When you connected your storage drive did you boot to BIOS and reset the BBS HDD boot order?
Note that this must be done every time you connect or disconnect an additional HDD/SSD.

Thanks for the reply. I was able to resolve my error. Unfortunately, I needed to take all of my data off of the 1 TB and reformat it to be a GUID partition and exFAT. It was in MBR(Master Boot Record). As soon as I did this, Chimera worked without an issue. My boot order is set and I am now booting without an issue. Once again, thanks for the support.
