HP z820 - Anyone had success?

Quadro FX 6000

Did you partition and format it in Disk Utility? Step 3.6 in this guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/61-unibeast-install-os-x-mountain-lion-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html

As you can see in screenshots (same in DiskUtility) there is no disk to select and format

Were you able to adjust the HDD Setting in the bios to AHCI and successfully save the settings? You should be able to boot from P0 drive. The HDD should also be on the primary Sata 0 port of the motherboard.

At the top of that first screen with the big X on it is a command bar. Click on the Utilities button, then select Disk Utility from the drop down menu. Your HDD should show up in the left pane of the disk utility menu. Select it, and in the right pane at the top select format. Select how many partitions you want, name and size each partiton, then click on the format button in the lower right of the right pane.

I changed the port of connected Disk: from Green to Red port. This was the only way I could see the disk in Disk Utility and format it.
-Installed from usb-stick with PCIRootUID=0 -v npci=0x3000
-After insttallation Reboot and /boot from HDD with npci=0x3000
-Run Multibeast with Easy installation. And repair Permisions. Reboot
-Boot with npci=0x3000. Update Software (AppleStore)

At this point Network and Audio not working
I installed from Multibeast the Network drivers and the Network was fixed
I tried to install from Multibeast the VoodooHDA 0.2.7.3 Audio Driver (as it mentioned for z800 installation here) and after reboot I had Kernel Panic
So I repeated the whole proccess till Network fix step

Any idea how to install successfully Audio ?
And also is there a way not to have to retype the npci=0x3000 flag whenever I boot ?

Hi all!!!

Trying to install mavericks on Z820 too... no way. I´ve prepared my pendrive with mavericks and the last unibeast version. I´ve tried with PCIRootUID=0 , -v, npci=0x3000 flags on unibeast bootscreen etc , and I always have the same result: Black screen after the first part of the boot. I never reach the first graphical screen of the installation.

My specs: New HPz820 - dual intel xeon 2630 v2 (Ivy Bridge) 32gb ram and Quadro K5000.

I've tried with all tips read here and in another forums. There isn´t information about Z820 (or z800) and hackintosh. I can see people who can install , with minor or major problems, but they can. I can´t. I don´t know if it's related to my new specificatión (ivy bridge v2 procs) or maybe K5000 quadro card.

Any help is appreciated
