Any link for that patched bios for u310 ?

Just upgraded mine. Only thing missing now is AppleHDA and AppleIntelFramebufferCapri Can anyone upload working modded for 10.9 I tried messing aroudn with the HDA but causes issues at boot "581 assertion" slows down boot and still no sound. Everything else is running smooth.

With the mod i get full speed from my cable line 25+mbit. I have the foil in exact same place he has it. Works well. U310 terrible design would be a nice if someone could make a plastic replacement for the back.. atleast we would get full speed :)

Its very easy to open the bottom. Remove the 4 rubber legs. Unscrew 4 screws from each. Use a old credit card to get one edge open and then slide it around to pop the rest open. This WILL VOID warranty!!!

I believe this is related the DHCP server caching your hostname. When you booted ubuntu and got an IP it cached the UBUNTU hostname. Then when you rebooted osx got the hostname when it was assigned the ip. Happened to me once.

We do not have this option in our BIOS.

I am using DSDT0704.aml The other DSDT was from the POST Install Pack for U310. I am not using any SSDT
