Still doesnt work. Screen stays blank in a gray color. Problem could be with WD hardrive

Where is post installtion folder I am trying too install Snow Leopard. Did all steps except last one. Cannot find post installation folder. Where do I get it?

Is it possible to do a clean install of OS X Lion without an upgrade?
