Thanks for your fast reply. Unfortunately, I was already trying all of that: - All devices are unplugged - Multiple USB 2 ports have been attempted (front and rear of computer) - I am booting to my SanDisk USB drive, and am able to select my El Capitan USB. Any other ideas?

Hello, I currently have a great fully functional Hackintsoh build that I love. Unfortunately, since day one, I have had some USB 3.0 issues. My case and motherboard both have USB 3 and neither one has ever gotten the full speed and often have power issues (drives randomly disconnect, etc.)...

That likely would have done it, I decided in the end that a clean install was safest as I had messed with so much on the way. None the less staying with 3,1. Now if only I could get my USB 3.0 to work... Thanks!
