After updating to Yosemite I had the same problem. I installed AppleIntelE1000e v3.0.4.1a using Multibeast 7.0.1 and it resolved the issue. Hope that helps! :)

I was having the same issue where the computer would immediately wake from sleep (start menu), and wouldn't go to sleep based on the energy saver preferences. After deleting the two kexts above and repairing disk permissions, it works perfectly. Thanks!! Scratch that... problem is still there...
