I am using Lilu 1.1.7 from https://github.com/vit9696/Lilu/releases and AppleALC 1.1.4 from https://github.com/vit9696/AppleALC/releases both say they are the latest versions from August 27. Are these two compatible?

I have added those two things and started the install from scratch again but the issue still persists.

I created my USB using the RehabMan guide. I can boot the installer and complete the 1st half of the installation on my Dell 9350. Once the machine reboots to continue the install it stops after a few seconds and provides the attached error log. Any idea what could causing this?

Is there any chance of being able to modify these files for use with a 9350? Skylake vs KabyLake but otherwise I don't think much has changed. I tried booting the installer with the attached 9.01 files but it just got stuck at the Apple Loading screen. The bar didn't even come up.

That would mean this static is not caused by an incorrect/incompatible patched AppleHDA right? If this is the case, is there anything else you would suggest I look at? Thanks for your time and help.

In your CodecCommander repo, you have the .dsl version of SSDT-ALC256. If my specific codec is slightly different, what do I have to look for in this file to change? Is there any documentation on using on modifying CodecCommander configuration data I may have missed? Thanks for your help.

Alright I will look into it. I am wondering though, with a patched AppleHDA would I still need a an SSDT-ALC256? How about codecCommander? Would that still be needed?

I have attached my codec_dump from Linux plus the layout13.xml and the Platforms.xml from the CloverHDA kext I am using. From what I can tell it seems the pathmaps are correct in the Platforms.xml. Could you take a look? Thanks. I also don't know what I am looking for in the SSDT-ALC256.

After that change the problem is still there.

I am not sure how to enable SortedOrder in my config.plist. Could you please explain? I have updated the Clover folder with the orgin files from pressing F4. Thanks for your help.
