Did you try safe booting? -x switch? Also use -v so you know where it is stuck at.

Your last message is kernel cache. I will suggest try with "-f" flag and it should recreate the kernel cache. Copy your EFI folder for USB to your SSD's EFI partition (or compare to make sure you have it right).

I will try to look at EFI partition first. I have same board and I am using pretty much exact kext you mentioned. Let me know if you want me to send you my copy of EFI folder.

Read the manual for motherboard. It shows which ports are on Marvell controller and which are other ones. If memory recalls me correctly, they are different color ports as well.

ya thats on be default for me. I have switched back to 10.10 for now, since that works perfect for me. I actually need to get some work done , can't be fiddling around this - plus someone else is getting "corrupted partitions" on 10.10.3 , I can't have that. I have too much data on my HDDs lol.

Sleeping is fine, waking up is an issue. It spins fans but nothing comes on monitor. Disabling Timezone didn't work (as someone mentioned)

For me, this happens when I have a SD card in printer. Hence, remove all USB devices and see if it makes a difference.
