Hi ! Very useful actually, cause I have troubles making my usb audio device works properly on the native usb ports of my Motherboard, so I'm gonna give a shot at this PCIE usb card to see if it solves the problem, as I'm running on Yosemite too, I'm glad you posted that ! I'll update you soon...

What I really don't understand, is this : I have a dual boot yosemite/windows 8. Why does the fireface 802 works flawlessly on the windows side, and have troubles on the mac side ? I mean, if it's a cable matter, shouldn't it cause troubles on the both sides ? Anyway, I'm kinda desperate so I'm...

I just tried with usb 2.0, it lasted a little longer working, 1 minute and a half, and then crashed when I opened a new tab in chrome... I'm really confused of what's going on here...!

I don't have a focusrite, I have a fireface 802 ! But I'm gonna try connecting it with usb 2.0.

Thanks for the answer ! I'm using USB port, I had too much troubles using FW with my previous Fireface 400, that's why I sold it to buy a new usb device, I though it would work out of the box... seems not ! You have any idea what's going on ?

Hi there ! I have the exact same problem with my new Fireface 802, I just installed Yosemite. It was not working fine with Mavericks, except when I lunched Protools, and turned the device settings to 32 samples... Absurd right ? So now after a clean yosemite install, sound is working fine...

Nevermind, I made a clean install of yosemite ! Now I have troubles with my external audio device, but gonna post my question eslewhere. Happy new year soon !

Hi guys ! Merry Christmas everyone :) I myself have the best present ever : Memory Allocation Error... Just before that my main boot was not working any more, for an unknown reason, and I was using the backup one. I guess I was not fast enough ! How do you think I can fix that ?
