I'm on older hardware (Haswell 4690k on a GA-Z97X-UD5H motherboard). I'd like to have lossless audio through Apple Music, which I heard can be achieved by switching the SMBIOS to iMacPro1,1...is this okay to do on my hardware config?
::edit:: apparently you can gain lossless audio through Apple...
Hey @Edhawk I compared our config lists, and I didn't really notice any stark differences (outside of the SSDTs and kexts that you're using). One thing I noticed was that your patches are under the ACPI tree, I have none under mine, but I do have some patches under "Kernal", where as you only...
I moved over your ACPIs and kext files over to my EFI, and made the suggested changes in ProperTree. When I booted up Atheroes, and wifi still weren't showing up as recognized devices. My left display also went out. For some reason I've been having display issues with my right displayport input...
I'm having the same issue...but with wifi not working (bluetooth is). I added AirportBrcmFixup to my kext folder, and plist. I changed the value of MaxKernel to 19.9.9 for AirPortBrcm4360_Injector.kext and restarted. When that didn't work, I deleted the entry all together as shown here (does the...
Hey @Edhawk have you happened to have uploaded your USBPorts.kext, or USBMap.kext on this forum? We have the same motherboard, and case (Fractal R5)...and I'm having a hard time trying to identify my ports in Hackintool and USBMap. For instance, I've plugged in devices to the ports not marked in...
I have finally updated from 10.13.4 to 10.13.6, but lost use of my USB 3.0. Last time I applied this patch, and I see a few posts here saying that a patch isn't needed...not sure what to do. I saw another post from Stork saying that we might have to update our kexts from the download folder...
::edit:: nevermind. I had to go into Clover configurator and change
"Comment: change 15 port limit to 24 in XHCI kext (9-series) 10.13
Name: AppleUSBXHCIPCI
Find: 83bd74ff ffff10
Replace: 83bd74ff ffff15"'
to EXACTLY what you posted in the original message. Thanks!
::eek:riginal...
I had this same problem earlier this morning (installed Sierra last night). I'm using an Apple Cinema display connected with a Displayport adapter. I also no longer have a "Computer Sleep" option under "Energy", only a "Display Sleep" option.
Is there anything I should know concerning either the chip, motherboard, or the operating system? Do I mainly have to adjust settings in the BIOS, or is there anything in El Capitan/Clover that I have to alter?
Anyone with the same configuration want to share their settings?
I responded to this thread earlier this year, but never got a helpful answer. I tried installing Apple's official drivers in Windows 8.1, and now 10, but it wont allow me to! My mouse is automatically recognized, but I can't scroll (I've tried the software from trackpadmagic as well), and my...
