No.
I wouldn't be surprised you don't have enough ram, especially if you are running 32bit Windows since video ram is duplicated. Also note, Crysis DX10 is basically a DX9 in disguise (devs were lazy). Best to have Crysis running DX9 and make sure you to be running Windows 7 x64 (XP x64 is...
Well, like I said in another thread (somewhere here in tonymacx86 forums), I bought two 6950s (successfully flashed to 6970s already though I reverted back to default 6950 BIOS for the time being) not long ago. I am just waiting for two more 1156 motherboards to arrive at my doorstep (approx 3-5...
Okay then. I'm in as I recently purchased two reference AMD Sapphire 6950s last week.
Just got a few more tweaks to do on Windows yet and I shall have a crack.
For what's it worth; I already tried flashing and editing the cards BIOSs (incl drivers) to be V8800 FirePro cards, and what an epic...
You are best to first make a decision as to what particular graphics card you want. Then research into the distro before purchase to make sure other hackintoshes express their success etc. ;)
Jealous? :D

Use a Windows install to monitor any overclock. Use Windows to run bench tests. Basically, abuse the shyt out of Windows and take advantage of it for overclocking purposes. ;)
Guys, take all 'write ups' about O'C for a grain of salt. Every system is different. Not one system is the same. Therefore, take precaution when applying system settings that you may of read by someone else.
What I can say to help you all on the right track is:
1) Use a Windows PC OS to do all...
Drop the GTX260 and opt for a (now) friendly ATI-5770 instead. ;)
Overall; your system is very capable for your needs. Considering that if built, out of the box real Macs will struggle to keep up with your hypothetical Hackintosh. ;)
Well, to be 'blunt'; yes, it does matter what brand VGA you use. Some play up more than others. Some don't support dual display. Some make pancakes. :headbang:
Hi.
Please edit your profile so that it displays the System Specs of your Hackintosh. This way not only can we help you far more efficiently, but other members and visitors will be able to come along and observe what "system specs" you had 'success' or 'failure' with.
Cheers mate. As soon as...
In the context you have asked; higher BCLK requires more voltage since it is also responsible for Ram.
However, to achieve higher rated ram frequency that the motherboard (aka logicboard) supports one must raise the BCLK ideally over Multiplier.
Also; higher multiplier is more tedious to get...
