If anyone else has similar problems, I had to flag the EFI partition as active using fdisk and now it's booting from the disk.

I've just seen that my EFI partition (disk0s1 in my case) is empty when I mount it. Is that normal? Shouldn't there be some files from PCEFI or Chameleon installed by Multibeast?

well, there seems to be a problem with the boot loader. I'd need such a boot loader anyway, even if I choose to use two disks instead of one with multiple partitions. And since there was a guide exactly for my setup, I think that this should work somehow. But thanks anyway for your suggestion...
