Hi Kai,
I am using the same motherboard as used by you but with a SandyBridge Processor (i2600k). My setup is good as such, but it freezes randomly. I was wondering if using your DSDT would help. Would you be ever so kind in sharing your DSDT for the same motherboard with me. My BIOS version...
I have the same motherboard & and i2600k. Thanks to you ive got my system working flawlessly apart from the CPU multiplier thing. What steps shall I take to fix my CPU multiplier? Please explain.
Thanks
Thanks for the help bro. Maybe my user profile is a bit misleading. I have 2 Hacks running in the house. One is a i7 2600k on the Z68x-UD4-B3 & the other one is a i5 2500 running on the Dh67-CL.
The Gigabyte build is running smooth but I was having problems shutting down the Intel machine...
I guess my Intel Mobo is too lame to have a custom DSDT of its own. But still its been a very smooth experience installing OSX Lion via UniBeast.
Thanks Raketa :)
Works great using the steps that you've mentioned above. However my system does not shutdown completely. When i shut down the system, it seems to log out & the monitor switches off but the CPU fans keep on whirring & the Cabinet light stays on. Any ideas on how to fix this ?
Hiya folks, im looking to build a new Sandy Bridge setup very soon. Im looking for a H67 chipset based motherboard with SATA 3, USB3 & 32Gb RAM support. I need your recommendations on which motherboard/s would be the best for me.
Thanks for Your time
As long as we can get native support or h67 & p67 chipsets via the next OSX update we should treat this as a welcome addition. On the thought of Apple getting goodies from Intel way before anything else all I can say is that "I almost expect it to be like that now"
Been using FCP 6 (with all latest updates installed) on my hack since the last 6 months and I couldn't be happier. The thing runs FCP much better than what my institutes 2x2.4 GHz Dual Core Xeons can (2Gb RAM & 7300gt being their main bottleneck) plus I can practice the art of editing all I want...
Seems like an excellent job by you fellas. Im looking forward to Upgrade to
i5 2500 along with THIS motherboard & an ATI 6770 1GB.
Will this Motherboard have any issues if I were to stick 8GB or 16GB of RAM in it ? Can anyone please confirm ?
