    Audio Randomly Stops Working

*bump* I want to bump this thread as I experience similar issues with my audio. I run a GA-Z77-DS3H board under 10.9.2 with the 887/888 current audio drivers. The speakers are connected to the black jack on the back. After several minutes of use, either browsing or spotify or similar, the...

The problem is localised, it is a server issue, as I am connected to a work server that causes the issues. This topic can be closed or deleted.

    Slow folder/finder performance

I have a stable setup running now for some days (10.8 on GA-Z77-DS3H, i7 3770, GTX650) but I encounter every now and then smaller issues. Maybe someone can help me with this one: When saving documents from different applications the folders I recently created don't show up. Only after some time...

    Success: GA-Z77-DS3H, i7 3770, 16 GB RAM, 120 GB SSD

Unfortunately I have no experience with powerPC installation of a hackintosh. Since the architecture of a PowerPC and an Intel Mac differ broadly it may be hard to get a stable system running. I suggest finding a friend's mac to create the multibeast boot stick.

Hey, the screencaps will be hard to do as the mainboard only supports this feature on fat32 system disks and mine is already mac os x journaled. What Bios trouble do you have precisely? To me it sounds more like a problem with the drivers during booting. I always recommend to use the -x flag to...

I just had a look in the case, I have the rev1.0. The update process is straightforward if you have access to a windows machine were you can extract the self extracting zip archive provided on the gigayte homepage. You just put the extracted firmware on a USB stick, plug it in and start the...

Hi, for your first question: I did an motherboard update, which was a bit tricky to do on a mac, as gigabyte's archive is a self extracting .exe that only runs on windows. I did the update to the latest version and the used the optimized defaults with the SSD set to ACPI. and for your second...

Thank you very much for your offer. I finally managed to get my system set up. The main problem was, that I created the Unibeast stick under Snow Leopard. Somehow this created a whole lot of problems that I didn't get when I later updated my snow leopard mac to mouontain lion and started from...
