No. These CPUs aren't compatible like that. E.g. Apple's ARM is a package that contains a load of custom fixed function hardware not available on any other ARM-style processors.
There's a good chance you will never be able to buy an ARM-CPU that is compatible with ARM-macOS.
Why do you assume that?
I'm running a Ivy Bridge hackintosh, currently with an iMac 2013 profile. But I kinda do expect to bump that up to 2014 when necessary.
Thank you!
I'm currently looking through the forums a bit and it seems like nVidia GPUs seem to be a little troublesome, frequently requiring config edits and such things? Coming from a flawless AMD experience this feels a bit cumbersome.
Also wondering because of the nvidia web drivers that...
Hi there,
I'm running my hack (signature) since 2012 with barely any issues. I've also only touched my hackintosh's config when I switched to Clover prior to upgrading to 10.13 (from 10.11). It's been a smooth ride for me for 6 years now.
Long story short: my hardware experience is limited and...
Got the Tenda U1 just a few hours ago. Not sure if it's exactly the one you mentioned as it cost me only 5€ but maybe the price dropped since there's a U2 now (its successor?).
So far everything is working great using Mieze's driver. Down/uploadspeed from my NAS increased a little, now let's...
Mind telling us which card exactly?
Since a few (as the linked sonnet) seem to have problems with gigabyte's z77 board I'm interested in reports about working cards.
Absolutely no idea.
I can't find anything about the GE1000LAB-E and all I see about the HP NC360T is pretty bad.
Seems like most people are satisfied with their onboard chip?
What about products with official OSX support? This would most likely require drivers from the manufacturer, therefore...
Well I see no reason to buy a new motherboard when there are existing and working PCIe LAN adapters since everything else works just fine.
Apparently there's GE1000LAB-E but its predecessor had problems with Gigabyte's Z77 boards. I found no info about the new version though.
Where can I find the source code for the LC1 kext? I'd like to compile it myself but there are quite a few repos and none of them mentions the explicit version of "1.2.3".
edit// found it (is it allowed to link to insanelymac here?)
