Hello, my machine was upgraded to Mojave 14.1 and now it keeps crashing due to a conflict with a kext file that was I added to the library extension folder to help troubleshooting USB and bluetooth. From clover I set the boot flag to "-s" but unfortunately the laptop (Lenovo x250) keeps...
Codec: Realtek ALC3232
Vendor ID: 0x10ec0292
Revision ID: 0x100001
Address: 0
Found codec but no layout ID. Even so I tried applying the latest AppleALC & Lilu kexts but it made no difference
I have a Lenovo x250 with ALC 3232 that was working with High Sierra but stopped functioning after MOJAVE. Its not listed in AppleALC as a supported codec. How do i determine which layout is compatible?

Thanks that worked and upgrade went well except now the X250 HD5500 video driver panic after initial install of patch. I have to manually disable Intel inject check box under clover graphics to get the laptop to boot without panic.
But now the video quality feel and looks like VGA and Intel...
I tired F3 and no hidden menus were displayed or additional menu options. Only options are; 1) Boot macoS for main-disk 2) boot macOS installs from Recovery-HD 3) Boot macOS Recovery-HD and one other I can't recall the last one but its not the one I'm looking for which should be something like...

I followed the guide at beginning of post which is right on spot and a good starting point for 10.13. Each laptop specs might be different so ensure that you do proper diligence by doing the necessary research prior to starting. Overall everything works including SD reader for me. Some issues I...
Ok I think the BT issue with sleep has been fixed. I'm no loner losing BT after sleep. This has been one arduous project not for the faint-hearted but I made it through Thanks to all

2. PC put to sleep and awake 5 minutes later. refer to "usb-after 5min sleep" . new controller BCM2045A0 is displayed, BCM920703 lost and BT...
I used "fraisdos125" guide "Lenovo x250" as a starting point. His guide is almost spot on for this particular system. Rehabman has provided good guidance as well.
In summary, WIFI works but the BT portion is a real problem, PC boots up with BT on and see the controller listed as "BCM920703...
