That's a good point, I have multiple drives connecting which do have EFI partitions! If the BIOS is starting up off the wrong EFI/OC that might explain why the kexts don't load.
I am looking at the EFI on my Sonoma drive, while booted into windows. The sonoma EFI contains all the old kexts but not the new ones I added. When I then reboot into Sonoma and view the same EFI I can see all the kexts....it's strange.
Thanks. Was able to rename. Still doesn't load kexts. What's interesting is that if I boot from my Windows partition and look at the EFI, the new kext do not show up - they are not listed under EFI/OC/KEXTS (the old ones do appear just fine). When I reboot into Sonoma and look at the EFI all the...
Thanks....i'll tryin enabling those kexts. I need time because when I get the error there's not way to restart without taking out the drive and putting it into another computer to fix the config.plist
I keep changing EFI/oc to EFI/OC but it keeps changing back!

IOSkywalkFamily.kext
IO80211FamilyLegacy.kext
AMFIPass.kext
AirPortBrcmNIC.kext
However, I keep getting the error...

EDIT:
I updated to this bios. No problems updating and no kernel panics when waking from sleep, although it has only been a little while. However...
I have the 4790K processor. I fixed the power management so it appears to be working well. From what I have read on other threads my problem is not uncommon.......computer goes to sleep and will have intermittent kernel panics. Sometimes I went days without one, sometimes every time it slept it...
bios firmware is up to date. There are a few threads discussing the issue of kernel panics during sleep for gigabyte boards (see http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/memory-corrupted-after-longer-sleep.148289/ ). It is unpredictable but when the computer sleeps I will often wake it to find there...
Thank you!!!!! Worked like a charm! Now if I could just find a fix for the problem with kernel panics occurring on sleep for this mb my system would be perfect!
