Update/bump: In order to refrain from messing up my clean install, i'm waiting to use multibeast. However, I was attempting to install drivers for an audio interface I use, and every time I install the drivers and reboot, it shows they did not install. So it seems drivers aren't being installed...

Also, right after the install, all USB ports are working properly (besides my headset not being detected) and my ethernet port is working. It's when I reboot after installing recommended drivers from multibeast that it all stops.
