Hi reggie84,
I have attached my config.plist (removed (masked out with Xs) the Serial and UUID parts)
The system has been stable for me with this config, apart from a few random restarts.
Let me know how it goes.
I am happy to report back, that after going through the OC setup guide and completing everything, Sleep now works as it should... So most likely the new kexts are starting to glitch with Clover... (or the other way around)
Still feels a bit overwhelming, but the guide was really helpful and...
Enabled all C state related settings in Bios (all of those were on auto) - no change (The iGPU C6 state has been tested many times before, on and off made no difference..)
Enabled SlpSmiAtWake --> no change
Enabled Legacy Options for Storage and Boot (still booting UEFI, but allowing Legacy)...
Exact same behaviour after enabling all C states and the Haltenabler in clover ACPI —> SSDT section.
Alao noticed today, that even before I made any of these changes, the system ramped up the fans and rebootedin a few seconds...
I haven’t selected the Generate cState and PStates in Clover as the Cpu seems to have all 37 PStates according to IORegExplorer.
In Bios I have only one setting regarding C6 for the IGPU and I have tried both enabling and disabling it... no change in outcome...
Will go through the bios once...
Hi,
I have the same issue regarding system not waking from sleep, and giving the same non-boot CPUs error code.
Have you come any closer to the solution, what have you tried to solve it?
I have decribed my issue and things I tried here
Thanks
Hi,
I went through pretty much everything in terms of patching and correcting things.
PM is working fine, and the system goes to sleep, but when I try to wake it with keyboard or mouse, the system responds and the fans ramp up to 100%, the monitor turns on, but no picture and goes to energy...
Have you tried turning it off an on again ? :)
ps: a build description in your profile and Problem Reporting file attached would go a long way to get some help...
Thanks for confirming. I thought that you have an RX570 as well...
I swapped mostly because I was looking for a challenge as well as having a MT form factor allows for a wider range of dGPUs later on. (keeping the system office compliant in terms of looks... any non "office" case would stick...
@trs96: Does both of your graphics card show up in the "about Mac" panel like on a mbP with dGPU? minde only shows 1 active but in the Displays tab it shows the which gpu the monitor is physically connected to..
