@mafx3 my guess would be that Apple may be clocking the GPU up and down very fast to avoid any kind of lag when stuff is moving on the screen. I'm pretty sure they do the same thing on iOS.

Using this fix seems to make my system unable to sleep, everything turns off correctly except that the power LED no longer turns off and the system is unable to wake again. As soon as I remove the lines added as part of the fix, sleep works correctly again. Anyone have any ideas?
