I did have one kind of sleep issue at 2666mhz memory settings.. Not sure if it's related.
In fact, I set the machine to never sleep and just shut the monitor off because I had some big downloads to do.
The screen would not wake!
I set darkwake back to =8 and haven't had an issue so far. I...
Which gets me thinking.. If slate raven was 4k.. Or Apple would just allow touch.
Cubase user here, and now trying Logic for certain features.
I guess this is a bit off topic! But I don't have 75 posts to PM.
Regarding this, will I have trouble with a Radeon Vega 64 Frontier Edition 64? I'm also interested in the LG 34WK95U-W 5k2k monitor..
Or should I just go 4k? I do audio, so the extra real estate would do me good.. And then I wanted to run it with a larger, 4k TV ovver the monitor, hanging on...
You may have figured this out already (or not) but here is a new thread on this issue in 2019 that may provide more insight... If you have fixed it beyond what is in the thread, please let us know here and at that thread. Thank you!

Everything is patchable/fixable..
But it certainly won't by me using just a gui and pocket full of kext's haha.
If it was fixed in the Asus, maybe they forced a remount or refused to eject somehow by updating their UEFI or something.
My intution tells me that if the OS is doing this and it...
I just let it sleep for the rest of the day and overnight and it's waking just fine. 5 seconds. I'm using the iMac Pro profile not 19,1. I had some panics during boot when using 19,1. Not all the time time but sometimes.. After a while it seemed to fix itself though. Maybe it's because I didn't...
I've had about 5 wakes from sleep since my last post with no issues. The computer wakes in 5 seconds. My setup is a little different than Casey's though. I use the iMac Pro profile. Mojave 10.14.6 (haven't installed the supplemental update yet).
I haven't fully tested removing darkwake completely. I left mine at =8 and haven't had any issues or need to remove it. I might do that today just to see how it goes (clock memory to 2666 MHz and delete darkwake).
It's still reported under Catalina as well, in CaseySJ's thread.
However, the iMac 19,1 (profile available in Clover Configurator) is supposed to allow more memory speed, but the issue persists.
Furthermore, there are reports ASUS fixed this issue in a BIOS update. If this is accurate, it could...
USB "Disk Not Ejected Properly" during sleep, Gigabyte Z390 Designare with memory above 2666 MHz.
This problem has been reported under other threads including CaseySJ's amazing Golden Build, however, I decided to make a separate, concise thread to try and solve this issue for the purpose of...
Do you have the USB Disk Ejected Improperly during sleep issue when setting memory above 2666 MHz?
Also, do you have the latest ASUS UEFI BIOS installed? It has been reported that this issue was solved through a BIOS update.
Thanks!
The issue with me is that Jettison won't remount the USB disks. The USB disks can't even be found in terminal without physically removing and Reinserting them (which make me think it's a Gigabyte UEFI issue).
Was Jettison able to remount for you? Were you able to see the USB disks in terminal...
What other issues are you experiencing?
Try lowering the momory. It could fix the USB eject and perhaps sleep issues. In my case, I have darkwake set to 8, but someone reported that darkwake settings in clover are not necessary anymore at 2666 MHz memory and below.
The other fix is to have the...
