    black screen after booting

Boot up in safe mode again (or with nv_disable=1) and make sure you have the latest Nvidia web drivers installed.

Graphics Broken on 10.10.5 (Security Update 2015.004)

Yes, and the graphics still quit after the boot animation. I can remote in with TeamViewer, but the graphics show no output - even with the newest driver.

Graphics Broken on 10.10.5 (Security Update 2015.004)

I've been participating in the threads speaking about the newer Nvidia web drivers, changing build number to fix this issue, etc; however, the Hackintosh (specs in sig) is still not working with accelerated graphics. It will only boot with nv_disable=1. I built this hackintosh for a client a...

I'm still looking for a solution to this problem, if anyone has an idea here.

Security Update 2015-003 Breaks NVIDIA Web Driver Again

I've already tried uninstalling the drivers, setting nv_disable=1, reinstalling the drivers, setting nvda_drv=1 (and unsetting nv_disable), and rebooting, and I still don't get Nvidia graphics. I've also tried changing the NVDAStartup.kext/Contents/Info.plist to 14F1021, saving, running Kext...

Security Update 2015-003 Breaks NVIDIA Web Driver Again

I understand that, but this system has been working with Nvidia graphics for months, so I would guess the SMBIOS is not the problem here. Any other ideas on what could be causing graphics to not load with the 004 security update and up-to-date Nvidia web and CUDA drivers?

Security Update 2015-003 Breaks NVIDIA Web Driver Again

MacBookPro8,3 - I used it because my client already owned it, and as I understood it, you have to use a real Mac for the info for iMessage to work. Edit: And I know it's booting up all the way (just without video), because I'm remoting in to it with TeamViewer.

Security Update 2015-003 Breaks NVIDIA Web Driver Again

I'm running a GA-Z97X-UD7 with a Gigabyte 970 4GB, and I can't get it to work. I've changed the NVDAStartup.kext/Contents/Info.plist to 14F1021, run Kext Utility, repaired permissions, and installed the latest drivers (including uninstalling and reinstalling many times), and I still can't get...

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for 10.10.5 (346.02.03)

Yeah, I've already done that, but it's still booting to black. Clover Configurator (EFI) settings are all correct as they were before (dart=0, nvda_drv=1, and kext-dev-mode=1 - with NvidiaGeneric checked as well) and it still boots to a black screen with the latest drivers. Maybe an...

[NEW] Nvidia Web Drivers for 10.10.5 (14F1021) - Latest security update 2015-004

Perfect. Was also feeling lost with the last security update - hopefully this will fix the issues!

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for 10.10.5 (346.02.03)

Having the same issue with a client's computer. He updated, graphics failed, and I can't find anything that'll fix it, including changing the build number, different driver versions, beta drivers, kext utility permissions repair, terminal kext commands - nothing. Just won't work with Nvidia...

Yosemite Security update 2015-004 breaks compatibility with Nvidia drivers

I tried this fix for a client I helped build a Hackintosh (970), but it didn't work after using Kext Utility and the terminal kext commands with kext-dev-mode enabled. On to installing the beta drivers now.

    How to Fix iMessage

Yep, I also turned on 2FA before realizing the fix I applied that made it start working again. I already use Google 2FA, LastPass, and LastPass 2FA with an authenticator, and I didn't even know Apple was offering 2FA, so it was a nice surprise for me.
