Maximus V Gene 10.8 Guide with DSDT Anyone know how to diagnose an issue in which there is a screen flickering on the left hand side of the screen using the integrated GPU? I even set the iGPU to 64mb and it didn't work. I followed this guide to the T.

No dice. What I didn't realize was that when the computer went to sleep, and awoke again, the display would show. I messed up, though and set the computer to a) never sleep, and b) not to sleep when hitting the shut off button on the case. Any workaround for this?

I don't know if this helps anyone, but after running a system profile on ubuntu 12.04 it shows the supremefx III as alc898. Maybe we just need the alc898 kext?
