were you saying no its not correct or no i dont need it?
The mic input should be there if im running the correct realtek kext correct? im confused why its not there
I have audio but dont have a mic input. Inn clover configurator, I have these patches. Im thinking since I dont have an alc 892 kext installed, im using this patch in order to get audio, is this correct? Do I need the other patches as well? I do have RealtekRTL8111.kext installed, but I dont...
mine shows 8086:8cb1 , but i have a 9 series chip? Is this correct?
So I would just delete "Hub1, Hub2, EM01, EM02, 8096:9xxx" and everything other than 8086:8xxx and then list my ports?
Its a z97-a 3.1 mobo. Is there any way to get the 3.1 ports working? Or is there a way to use them only as 3.0 ports in a custom SSDT? Or is my best bet just to not use those ports and create a custom SSDT?
What is the difference between 8086:9xxx and 8086:9cb1 in the SSDT? Which would i list...
I plugged 3.0 and 2.0 into each available port. 7 & 8 are front USB ports and 1 & 2 are USB 3.1 ports. When writing the SSDT, would I use " AppleUSB30XHCIPort@XXXXXXX " for port name?
And am I ok to use the SSDT template he provides in the write up or would it be different for the 9 series?
Ok will do.
I tried deleting fakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext to see if i needed it, but when I deleted it, I rebooted and could not use bluetooth or wired keyborard/mouse. I had to boot USB and reinstall it to work again... Am I doing something wrong cause it didnt seem to do that before I installed...
That HDD is connected to the front usb's which goes to the mobo to the USB port. Is that why it shows usb to sata? Speed is the same for the front and rear usbs.
What will customizing my SSDT do? Do you have any links on how I go about doing that?
Do you want me to list everything again? I already gave you all that..

i remove patch limit and include -uia_exclude_hs to the custom boot arguments, but im still getting the same disk speed and having issues with large file usb disk transfers, -error 36 "could not complete operation because some data could not be read or written"
If thats short term then what is the long term?
Your saying im already routing all HSxx ports on XHC to EHCI controllers, so there is no need to use the port limit patch, and instead use -uia_exclude_hs ? How do I use -uia_exclude_hs?
