Its been a while since I last looked at this forum or edited my laptop. I just re-read a lot and patched the config.plist to work with AppleHDA instead of the VoodooHDA, but the same 2 issues that I've ignored over the past few months didn't change. The 2 issues are 1-the sound preferences...
Of course. I've removed themes and zipped CLOVER, and I've zipped ioreg too. Even though HDMI audio is still an issue, it's not as important as needing a working computer right now. Since I'm in university, I NEED my computer ready at all times. Which means anything that isn't a necessity...
Thank you to both RehabMan and gfoury once again for helping me with my plight. I have restored from a backup from a couple of days ago. Since then I have changed the kexts according to gfoury's previous tips. I have returned to a point where HDMI audio appears to be the only thing not...
I have tried to fix the HDMI audio with the solo AppleHDA with DummyHDA as gfoury and RehabMan have suggested and used several different guides. I have changed the config.plist for clover too (adding from the masterl UX305fa list at https://github.com/gfoury/UX305FA-DSDT-Patch with gfoury's...
Is there any chance you can reply to this with a zip file of your solo AppleHDA with the HDMI patch, and the ADummyHDA that it requires?
I tried (seperately) with the links from http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capitan-laptop-support/185868-voodoohda-jack-sense-auto-switching-hdmi-audio.html post...
I believe I have completed the power management changes. Please let me know it the new ioreg file states otherwise. As for the HDMI audio, I have follow the FAQ instructions as well as several others which have all been met without success. What do you suggest I do (besides use an aux cord)?
Thanks for the tip about the fn key for the volume control, it works.
What does power management entail and do then, and what do I do about it (or the lack thereof)?
Also, how do I fix HDMI audio?
I fixed the brightness issue with IntelBacklight.kext since I'm on 10.11.3, no patching required. Thank you.
As for the power management, it may have shown in the ioreg file that it's not implemented, but it appears as though it works, as shown in the screenshot below.
And finally, in...
I followed the guide to the letter and have finally finished...or almost
I followed the fast lane package and am writing this post from my hackintosh, YAY :headbang:. But:
1.) The brightness controls don't work (pressing the function keys display the box on screen as if it was working & the...
When inputting iasl -da -dl *.aml into terminal, I get a responce of -bash: iasl: command not found. How else should I disassemble the files? Or should I follow the Fast Lane instructions from [guide] Asus Zenbook UX305FA Using Clover UEFI? This is not the first post install issue I've had...
