Issues:
1. Card Reader Not Working
2. Sleep not working
Laptop on AC Power: If I click on sleep the monitor goes black and comes back if I move mouse or click mouse button.
Laptop without AC Power: If I click or don’t click on sleep button the display goes off after 10 mins (as per energy management rules) but if it crosses 30 mins the laptop never wakes up. I have to force shutdown and restart.

Thread moved to Mavericks Laptop Support from Post Installation - General Help.

Issues:
1. Card Reader Not Working

Very common. Very few card readers are supported.

Sleep is not working with lid down and laptop not waking up when lid is up.

Power management implemented correctly?
Be aware that sleep takes about ~20 seconds after sleep request.
You should disable hibernation ('sudo pmset -g hibernatemode 0')

3. HDMI Audio Out is not working
Though the HDMI Audio options are available in the sound settings but still no sound out of HDMI port.

HDMI audio requires DSDT patches + patches to your framebuffer.

errors:

2. USB Notification: The hub “HubDevice” @ 0x1d100000 has reported an overcurrent condition. Port 4 has been disabled.

Did you do standard USB DSDT patches?

3. GeforceSensors: still waiting for accelerator to start…
Normal message....

Nvidia should be disabled for power savings given you can't use it anyway in switched/dual-gpu system.

Thanks a lot for replying @RehabMan. I have few queries on the answers you posted.
Can you please take a loot at it ad help me further?

I have Ricoh Card Reader in my laptop. Is there any solution for this?

Not sure how to check Power Management Implementation.
I have disabled the hibernation as you mentioned above.
I will try to observe how sleep behaves after hibernation and keep you posted the results.

I don't know how to apply DSDT patches or framebuffer patches - Can you please help me with a guide on this?

No idea as I don't have a laptop with that specific card reader. Use google.

There is a section on HDMI-audio in the audio subforum.

How to check this?

How do I disable this?

Involves DSDT/SSDT editing. Basically you find the SSDT that contains the device definition for your nvidia and call _OFF within _INI. If you use search, you should be able to find several examples...
