Hello, im currently trying to install Mavericks on my Sony Vaio VPCF22L1E Laptop.
I managed to install 10.9 without any problems but the CPU is overheating even without any programs open. (Intel i5-2410M - Sandy Bridge - about 50-60 Celsius). I already patched the AICPUPM and created a SSDT with the script but it's still not working. Can anyone help me?

Thanks for the help.
I've tried the SSDT but still no major difference. According to HWMonitor the CPU Multiplier is all of it's time at x8 (792 Mhz). It only jumps up to x27 (2.67Ghz) when i try to open "About this Mac" but even this isn't working. It crashes instantly. Here is the IOReg:

What was your procedure for installing?

Check pstates with DPCIManager/MSRDumper/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementInfo.kext.

I used Unibeast to install Mavericks on my Laptop. Everything seemed normal, I booted with "-x -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes dart=0" and installed it without any problems. Maybe this will help:

I reinstalled Mavericks a second time. Here is the new IOReg: View attachment Sony_Vaios MacBook Pro.ioreg

Stability issues could be nvidia issue...

Please provide complete details in your profile.

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Ok, signature updated! I've installed Windows 7 to check the temperature but now i can't boot Mavericks anymore. I've booted with the Unibeast USB Stick and installed Chimera again but Windows 7 isn't showing up anymore. I can't even activate the drive on Mavericks.

Ok thanks managed to dual boot Win7 and Mavericks but the problem with the overheating still existst :( and it looks like i have to patch my AppleHDA.kext to make it work with my Realtek ALC 275 codec...
