I put together my hackintosh and got mavericks installed. I used the newest version of Multibeast and Unibeast. I am using Mavericks 10.9.2 however, so I'm not sure if that contributing to the problem.

I have to use the -x boot flag in order for Unibeast to work, and then once install was complete, I had to use it again on the Mavericks boot for it to work.

Once in OSX, I ran Multibeast and loaded the EasyBeast drivers. They installed successfully.

Now when I reboot, I get hung on the Apple and gear logo. If I boot with the -x boot flag, it loads.

Heres my hardware list;

Gigabyte GAZ87MD3H motherboard
Intel I54690k
Samsung 250gb MZ7TE250BWR HD
Crucial 2x8gb BLS2K8G3D169DS3
Corsair CS550M PSU

The whole Multibeast and picking your drivers is what I'm assuming the problem is. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'll assume you've setup your bios correctly prior to installation - Have a look at the 'MultiBeast Config Files' here in the forum and see what others have chosen for a Z87 chipset motherboard - try the installation 'DSDT Free' and only choose the basics in settings just to get the system booting off the hard drive. Once that is done, any other problems can be sorted after. Good luck.

What at should I have changed in the bios? Boot order?

I used one of the Multibeast configs in the thread at the top. It looks like it's getting a bit further, but still getting hung up. Here's a screen shot of the verbose boot;

Im updating mavericks as we speak and will try again with the minimal stuff. Any help is appreciated.

So I went back over the uEFI steps in he install guide and realized I did not disable VT-D. I've done that and it booted successfully. I've only shut down once since then, and saw some weird stuff going on when I shut down. I olan to further troubleshoot later. Thanks for the help!
