Hello,

I am having a bit of trouble installing Mavericks. This is where the code gets stuck:

[iobluetoothhcicontroller] start

I read that it is not getting stuck on the bluetooth thing, rather what comes after it. I don't know what that is, though.

Here are my specs:

Gigabyte H87N Wifi
2 x 4 GBs Crucial Ballistix 1600
i5 4670K

Can anyone help me out, please?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Johnny

Thanks for the quick reply!

I tried both of those boot options, but it is still getting stuck there. I am wondering if my RAM is bad. Would that be a problem associated with bad RAM?

I just installed a new i5 4670K and 2 x 4 GBs Crucial Ballistix and I am getting the same problem. I am pulling my hair out. I have almost the same CustoMac Mini build that is recommend in the Buyer's Guide (CoolerMaster Elite 110 and Corsair 430 PSU may be the only difference), so I don't know what the problem is.

Am I missing like a BIOS setting or something? I am pretty sure this is a HD 4600 graphics problem, but I don't know what to do about it. I have searched high and low, tried all of the various boot code, but still the same thing.

This is very frustrating! I cannot even install Windows 7 or 8.1 without getting a black screen after boot up logo. I guess it has to be the motherboard. I am at my wit's end.
