Having a heck of a time getting this up and running.

Mavericks 10.9.2
MSI H87-G43
Integrated HD 4600 Graphics - Using HDMI
8GB RAM
Corsair CX500 PSU
320GB WD Hard Drive.

I have created a Unibeast installer with 10.9.2 from the App Store.

I patch the Kernel to prevent instant reboot due to early Haswell issue found here.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...-locked-msrs-hp-envy-15-j063cl-i7-4700mq.html

I can successfully boot the installer using "-x IGPlatformID=0D220003"

I am then able to format HD and install Mavericks.

Upon first boot I follow the instructions I linked to early to replace the kernel on the Macintosh HD with the patched one from the Unibeast installer.

At this point. I can boot successfully into safe mode using "-x IGPlatformID=0D220003"

I cannot get this system to boot into normal mode.

I have tried:

-Bios settings - Turned of HPET. Set Graphics to Integrated First, 64MB, DVMT to Max. Obviously AHCI. Installed Latest bios.
-Bootloaders and flags. I have tried Chimera 2.2.1 and Chameleon 2.2. Chimera is the only one that seems to work with the above flags.
In Chimera I have tried IGPEnabler=Yes with GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No.
In chameleon I have tried GraphicsEnabler=Yes/no IntelAzulFB=10. With no success.
-Multibeast with many configurations. Bare minimum of FakeSMC,NullPowermanagement, USB3.0 Universal, VoodooHDA.
I can usually get back into safe mode after running Multibeast but usually attempting to boot into Normal mode will result in either Apple Logo with never ending spanning gear or Kernel panic with Chameleon boot loader.

Booting with -v stop at a strange screen that says
"WARNING: IOPlatformPluginUtil ; GetCPUIDInfo: this is an unknown CPU model 0X3c
---power management may be incomplete or unsupported
Refusing new kext com.apple.iokit.IOUSBFamily, v675.4: already have loaded v999.9.9

SMC: :smcReadykeyAction ERROR: kSMCReadKeyComm/kSMCReadKeyWithSMCComm failed for key 0SK1 (kSMCSuccess)
DSMOS has arrived
then something about missing bluetooth controller transport
SMC: :smcReadkeyAction ERROR MSDS kSMCBadArguementError(0x89) fKeyHashtable=0x0ffffff8-132864c0

I have done a lot of googling and can't seem to track down the issue. I was exploring creating a SSDT but was unable to figure it out.

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have tried so many different things I honestly don't know what the issue is.

Thanks in advanced.

Anyone? I'm thinking of picking up a graphics card to try and see if its the HD 4600 thats the issue.

I think you may be on the right track with the SSDT.

Do a search on your processor and SSDT to see if people are using that. If you have a DSDT for your board I always go that route. See if Multi-Beast has a SSDT option for your processor.

Thanks for the response. I finally got it working, everything except for Sleep and two random freezes.

Heres what it took to make it work.

Bios Settings:

LimitCPUID Disabled
Intel Virtualisation Enabled
VT-d Disabled
Init Display First AUTO
Primary PEG AUTO
Internal Graphics Enabled
Internal Graphics Memory Size 32MB
DVMT Total Memory Size MAX
Intel Rapid Storage Technology Disabled
Intel Smart Connect Technology Disabled
Legacy USB Support Enabled
USB 3.0 Support Enabled
XHCI = AUTO
XHCI Handoff Enabled
EHCI Handoff Enabled
AHCI Enabled
High Precision Event Timer (HPET) On
2nd Marvell Controller Off

Create 10.9.2 installer with Unibeast.

After creating the Unibeast installer you have to patch the kernel with link provided in my original post.

To boot normally into the installer you have to use "IGPlatformID=0D220003" this enables the hd 4600 integrated graphics.

Install normally to Macintosh HD.

After install finishes you have to use the last command to copy the mach_kernel to the Macintosh HD.

Now the hard drive will boot normally while still using the IGPlatformID command.

I then ran MULTIBEAST:
Quickstart - DSDT Free
Audio - VoodooHDA v2.8.4
Network - RealtekRTL81xx v0.0.90
Bootloaders - Chimera 2.2.1

After installing these you will want to edit the org.chameleon.boot.plist and add the "IGPlatformID=0D220003" so you don't have enter it manually each time.

So far everything works with the exception of Sleep and 2 random freezes.

If anyone has any idea what could be causing the freezes or how to fix sleep your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
