Hi there everyone I'm wanting to make my PC a Hacintosh and just wanted to find some answers due to the fact is that I'm running an AMD 7xxx series video card and just wanting to find out if it is possible to do this without an problems with having onboard graphics or another graphics card to boot the system. I am running an i5 2400, AMD Radeon 7950, 8GB RAM, and the other things like HDD's nd stuff.

If you could help me to see if this would work without any onboard graphics I'd be so thankful.

Yes it is possible I'm using an AMD 7950 and an I5 2400 and it works great.

You should install your 'extra folder' and boot loader to the EFI partition of your SSD/HDD when using either an AMD 7*** series card or an ASUS '87' series board.

i5-2400 has intel HD2000 graphics which are not supported in OS X.

hey Adrian, im Running an Asus cm6870 MB, I7 3.39GHZ processor with 32 GB Ram. I also have an AMD Sapphire 7950 HD card.
I did the EFI boot Method for the graphics card and it works great for the most part however it would go black after a couple hours or so. Did i miss something i need some help please!

If you could update your profile hardware details with your motherboard model, CPU model and GPU model  Then have a look at the following thread - in particular the framebuffers paragraph and the links in that paragraph. Follow up on this and see how you go. If the problem persists then either start a new thread in graphics section of the forum or add you question on the Radion compatibility thread. You must mention the version of OS X that you are running, the ports on the GPU that have monitors connected and the bootloader that you are using. All this information could help with diagnosis.

If you have any cable adaptors, then check the issue is not around these. Lastly, how does the GPU behave in Windows?
