I do not know if this one was completed with the reuse or logic board panel

There are others on the Legacy forum but I cannot find them all, it has been done several times.
Basically you are soldering extensions onto the cut back panel piece to plug into your mother board, letting you mount your motherboard away from the rear panel and therefor not cutting it leaving all stock.

That is exactly what I am going to try to do. I want it to look the same as an original Mac Pro.

I have found a few Mac Pro's on eBay/CL, some have major cosmetic issues and some don't. I am wondering weather or not there is a way to remove minor scratches in the aluminum casing. Perhaps buffing/polishing them out will work?

You cannot buff or polish the Aluminum case. It is anodized and once you do this you then ruin the surface coating on the case.

You would need to reanodize the whole case somehow.

If you did this you can take down the whole finish and redo it all in a different design or something but you couldn't spot fix it.

Yeah that won't work for me because I want it to look like a real Mac Pro and I don't have the capablities to anodize something:lol:
