hey guys, i need some help. ;)

ive been trying to install os x lion on my ASUS-P7P55D-E-LX-1602
with no luck at all, been at it for a week now and cant seem to install it!? :?

now to my question, can anybody tell me how i could place my DSDT-ASUS-P7P55D-E-LX-1602.aml into the iboot iso? or is that the wrong way to do it? i get some
error codes about there being no dsdt.aml when trying to install, please help me
get thru the installation!

thank you VERY much everybody here its an awsome forum
with suprisingly helpfull users! THANK YOU TONY! :headbang:

I think that iBoot is only for Snow Leopard. Even when using iBoot to install SL, you only put the DSDT on the desktop and MultiBeast installs it.

Perhaps you can give us a few more details about what install method you are using, so we can help you. The more details the better.

The for the fast reply but i cant put thedsdt anywhere since i cant boot the installation process without error codes du tue no dsdt found...?

:banghead:
I have tried to make à unibeast boot usb but it has the same problem, no dsdt?
Now i tried iboot - lion osx retail dvd, but should i buy sl instead and upgrade fromthere, Will That work, or will it break due to no dsdt file?

Thx!

There is no such thing as a Lion retail dvd. If someone sold you one you got gipped.

There is no way to put a DSDT into iBoot. If you have the Snow Leopard retail DVD, then install Snow Leopard, update it to 10.6.6 to get the App store, purchase and download the install Lion app and create your Lion install USB with UniBeast. Then install Lion.
