I want to switch out the graphics card in my machine to a Nvidia GTX 560 Ti.

How can I go about this?

EDIT: To clarify, I don't need help actually putting the hardware in, I need help knowing exactly what to do to not crash my machine, I think I need to use multibeast for something? And would I need to be able to boot from a Lion thumb drive to do this? Or can I just boot the machine as it is now, and use multibeast on it.

Thanks.

My eyes are not good enough to read whatever is in the pic you posted. Lion should be OOB for 560Ti, but you might need to install additional Fermi drivers if your card is not supported.

Oh my apologies, let me upload again.

Also, how would I go about getting fermi drivers for mac? I thought mac didn't have graphic drivers - at least they never do when I search for them.

why lion? why don't you use mavericks?

That was my original plan, to upgrade to mavericks since I heard it might solve the issue I am having on this particular hackintosh (won't output HDMI for a new TV I bought to use as monitor).

But my thread about it got no response after the initial help a non-moderator gave:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...uter-doesnt-recognize-bootable-usb-drive.html

Basically the computer won't recognize the Mavericks thumb drive, and I have tried just about everything twice, short of messing with overclocking options in BIOS.

Since I stopped receiving help on that end, I just thought I would maybe swap my Windows' machine GPU (the 560 Ti) to see if it would then output HDMI. I wanted to make sure I wouldn't ruin the install on the hackintosh somehow because a kext was wrong for the Nvidia 560 Ti, so I made this thread.
