Ok. After no success on a desktop, I thought I would try on my Toshiba satellite. Snow Leopard 10.6.3 installs correctly, but panics out on post install after update to 10.6.8, and I cannot get LAN working. Little help?

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"

I'm trying not to switch back to the Windows hard drive, but I've put up what I have. It boots fine without any updates, from a "base install", but I still have to use the iBoot. If I install Multibeast, that screws it up, with or without the update.

GMA 4500HMD is not supported by any version of OS X.
