iBoot CD - OSX USB

Hello,

I want to install Snow Leopard on a old pc, i know the hardware is compatible for it, but there is a problem.
I don't have my original retail DVD, but i have the image file. Is it possible to install this with iBoot on cd (as said in the guide) and OSX on a usb? If not, what should i do?

Only the Retail SL DVDs are supported, not any burnt DVDs or USBs.
