HP Elitebook 8460p Wifi

Hi there!

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck finding a working card for this? I've searched here on the forum, haven't found anything that isn't either conclusive and clear or not in russian

Any ideas anyone?

I posted this in the wrong place, but the issue still remains in that as per the Hp-probook-yosemite install page, the solution should be "HP Probook 6x60b/5330m, HP Elitebook 8x60p/2x60p: the laptop has whitelist BIOS, so only usable card is HP-branded Broadcom 43224HMS (582564-001/582564-002)"

However the wifi card-port in this machine uses 3 little cable plug / sockets, whereasWould the wifi chip mentioned here only has two. Would that work...?

Are you referring to the antenna connections? Refer to your service manual...

Thank you and yes, I was referring to the antennae connectors. This is what the Elitebook service manual says:

NOTE: The WLAN antenna cable labeled “1” connects to the WLAN module “Main” terminallabeled “1”. The WLAN antenna cable labeled “2” connects to the WLAN module “Aux” terminallabeled “2”. If the computer is equipped with an 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN module, the yellow WLANantenna cable connects to the middle terminal on the WLAN module.
