The trackpad is non functional (and no usb mice work) at the language selection screen, most likely because I was unable to disable Fast Boot. The check box for Fast Boot is grayed out in Boot Options in the enabled mode. I have tried enabling DriveLock password and enrolling BIOS users but neither one seems to change from being grayed out. What am I missing?

Thank you.

Try mouse in different USB port.

None of the usb ports are working for a mouse during the language screen. I have the thumb drive in the front right port and the 2 usb mice I have use have worked in all the other ports during the bios boot options.

You will need to remove password protection for BIOS. It is imperative to be able to change various BIOS settings to the correct values.

I removed all the password security and was able to disable Fast Boot. I continued the install according to your instructions and everything is up and running. Thank you!
