sd card reader freeze randomly?

When I put cards in, they read and are great. But sometimes when I eject them the system hangs.

Any clues where to start on this one? I tried some google foo and dint' see any threads.

Are you properly ejecting your media within Finder before removing the card?
 
Actually, if I watch it in disk utility, it appears to be freezing on the unmount

I think you dug up the relevant info in the other thread. Fact is the driver is old and is not being updated. Try not to get too fancy with the cards you use...
