I can't seem to get past the white screen with the spinning circle. Eventually the spinning abruptly stops and it hangs at a black screen. I've tried all the "flags" I could find. Yes I'm a noob but I did get a HP 4540s working as a Hackintosh. Here's what I'm working with.

Probook 4430s

Model number QJ670AV
i5-2450M CPU

This is all after I had HP fix the password locked BIOS. I don't know what to do any ideas. I've tried uni beast 3 and 4 on two different USB drives. Please help me.

Your 4430s should boot the installer without flags. Make sure you selected "Laptop Support" in Unibeast4.

Thanks for such a quick response rehab man. I've tried it w/o flags too. It hangs in the same spot every time to a black screen to death. It's about to go airborne ;)

I followed the guide to a "t" and it does have unibeast 4 with laptop support on two different drives. The one drive is the same one I used to get a 4540s running.

Does your 4430s have Radeon? If so, did you disable it in BIOS?

can't find it in the BIOS. Wouldn't it be in built-in device options.

multi core and HT is on

VT is off

ahci or IDE mode?

Set BIOS to defaults, then follow the instructions in the guide. If your BIOS is old, you should update it.

updating BIOS now.

Does IDE/ACHI mode matter in BIOS? It's set to ACHI mode now.

Thanks for your help. It's much appreciated.

BIOS updated

BIOS back to default setting

Still hangs after apple logo

Boot verbose and post quality photo of entire screen when it stops.

So boot with -v and try to take a picture of the screen before it goes completely black? Sorry I'm such a noob
